What Would Your DNA Say About Your Heritage?

Discover what your DNA might reveal about your heritage at this library program.

  • Have all the popular genealogy TV shows and ads intrigued you? Want to learn more about using your DNA to identify and explore your family history? This program will help you learn how you can discover and preserve your own family’s genealogy, including:
    • Understanding your motivations for getting started so that your actions, money, and time spent align with your goals and final intended outcomes
    • Discovering how DNA testing (genetic genealogy) has become a major puzzle piece to help solve family mysteries.
  • Deena Coutant, a full-time professional research and genetic genealogist, will provide strategies to help you successfully discover, celebrate, share, and properly preserve your family legacy through both traditional genealogical research and DNA testing.
  • This program is for adults.
  • Registration is required and will open here on Tuesday, September 12 at 10 am.  No email address?  Call (303) 651-8472 to register.

The Friends of the Longmont Library generously support library programs and services.
