Cancelled: Mental Health First Aid

  • Date: 10/16/2017 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
  • Location: Boulder Valley St. Vrain Community Hub
    515 Coffman Street
    Longmont, Colorado 80501
  • Introduction: A two-day course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Due to low registration this class has been cancelled. Please visit the Mental Health First Aid page for a list of upcoming classes.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.

This is a two-day class which will run from 8:30am to 11:30am on October 16 and October 18. Once registered, you will automatically be registered for both days.

Thanks to the generous support of The Colorado Health Foundation, we are able to offer this class (valued at $50) at no charge as part of the Supporting Action for Mental Health initiative with the City of Longmont, Mental Health Partners, and Longmont United Hospital.

After completion of this class, you will receive a Mental Health First Aid Certification. You must attend both days to receive your certification.

**A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately after you register. If you do not receive this confirmation email please contact Julie Phillips to verify your registration.
