Black History Live: Maya Angelou

Storyteller Becky Stone will bring Maya Angelou to life in this special library program.
  • Storyteller Becky Stone will bring author and poet Maya Angelou to life in this special performance to honor Black History Month. 
  • This program is for ages 18+ only.
  • This program is offered in partnership with Colorado Humanities and is part of a larger Black History Live tour created and funded by them.
  • Stone is an accomplished storyteller who brings historical figures, including Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks, to vivid life in engaging and moving Chautauqua performances.  See her as Rosa Parks in this video from 2017.
  • Registration is required and is currently full.  Stand-by seats may be available.  Please see information on Stand-by Registration here.
