On Friday, February 8th, the City of Longmont will be hosting a Winter Bike to Work Day station in the Development Services Center lobby located at 385 Kimbark Street between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Come on in, get warm, and enjoy some food and drink. You may bring your bike inside the building.

Because you will likely be riding in the dark, be certain you have the proper lights on both the front and rear, wear highly visible clothing, and dress in layers for protection from the cold. While helmets are not required, it’s a very good idea to wear one, especially this time of year where you’re likely to encounter slick roadways.

Lastly, be sure to do an ABC-Q check before starting out on your ride: A is for Air; B is for Breaks. C is for Chain. And, lastly Q is for Quick Release. Be safe out there.
