The Bees Needs

Did you know Colorado is home to more than 950 species of bees? Learn more about some of the more common bees as well as how to attract and feed the bees in your backyard. Beth Conrey is co-founder of People and Pollinators Action Network and owner of Bee Squared Apiaries and tends the hives here at the Ranch. $2/child, $4/adult suggested donation, collected at event.  Call 303-651-8404 to register or online at https://rec.ci.longmont.co.us/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/search.html?module=AR&keyword=SSRVLC.

Directions 

Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center is located just east of Longmont on Highway 119. The turn-off for the District Park and Visitors Center is one mile east of the Intersection of Highway 119 and Weld County Road 1. Drive south on Sandstone Drive (next to the football and soccer fields) and follow the directional signs to the Visitors Center/ Trailhead parking lot.
