Rock Painting: Using Art as a Tool to Promote Positive Feelings

Our Kindness Rocks project goal is simple… to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients by painting and dropping inspirational rocks around our community. These rocks are for anyone who needs them. Take them, leave them, photograph them, or share them with someone who needs a little kindness and love.

Supplies will be provided. We encourage you to Bring Your Own Rock “BYOR”
Connect with friends and your community for this fun filled morning of promoting and sharing kindness.

September is International Suicide Prevention Month. To support our community, Supporting Action for Mental Health has organized a month-long series of events and discussions about creating mental wellness. The activities aim to help residents recognize the tools they already have and fill up their toolbox with new tools to address a mental health challenge for themselves, a loved one or the community as a whole.
