Discovery Days: Movement

Discovery Days Movement with Elaine Waterman
Every other Tuesday
September 3–December 3
9:30–10:30 am, 11 am–Noon

Discovery Days veteran teacher Elaine Waterman is back and ready to move with you! Kids and grownups will get their bodies going and transform the way they move in space with dance, yoga, jumping, wiggling, and more.

No registration required. Ages 2-6 with an adult. $4 museum members, $4.50 nonmembers. Scholarships are available for Discovery Days thanks to support from the Dodge Family Foundation. Contact Leigh for more information.

Discovery Days encourages children ages 2–6 and their caregivers to learn together through engaging in hands-on activities. This year, we are expanding our usual Discovery Days offerings in arts and crafts to include more cultural expression—music and movement! We have added a new day of fun and learning on Tuesdays for these additional activities. When you attend a session of Discovery Days with your child, you will help them cultivate important school-readiness skills such as language development, attention and concentration, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, language skills, play, and social abilities.
