TAKE THE LIBRARY SURVEY!

  • Date: 02/09/2020
The City of Longmont is seeking resident input on the future of the Library.

What's going on?

The Longmont area has grown quite a lot since the current library building was completed in 1993, and technology has changed the way people gather information for research, entertainment, and community connection. In December 2019, the City of Longmont began a feasibility study to contemplate the future of the Longmont Public Library.  Specifically, the study is intended to discover what the Longmont community most wants and needs from its library and how those goals can best be achieved with potential funding structures. The outcome of this study will likely affect the Library (and therefore, the community) for decades to come. We need your help!

Tell us what you want!

In order to compile as much information as possible from as many residents as possible, the Library will be using a survey and hosting community meetings and using a survey to hear directly from members of the public about what they believe the Longmont Public Library should offer.

Take the survey!

The study consultants have worked with City staff to create a thorough survey that should provide incredibly valuable information about community priorities. Please help us by completing this survey.  It should take about 10 minutes to finish. We know this is longer than other surveys the Library has done, but that's because this is such an important endeavor. Your time is greatly appreciated!
