Wildlife Rehabilitation: the Hows and Whys

The Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation staff will visit the Library to talk about the benefits and challenges of rehabilitating wild animals.

  • Join Alie Moreno, the Wildlife Educator at the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, for this interesting and informative program about our local wildlife rehabilitation efforts.
  • She'll answer questions like: What is Wildlife Rehabilitation? What is the purpose of the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center? What circumstances bring animals to Greenwood? What is the process of rehabilitating wild animals? What to do if you find a sick, injured, or orphaned animal?
  • Moreno will also share ways to involved and help the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
  • Best for tweens, teens, and adults.
  • Registration is required and will open on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 am. No email address? Call 303-651-8472 to register by phone.
