Alta Park is a small neighborhood park on the corner of 10th Avenue and Alta Street. Originally developed in 1915, it was originally called North Longmont Park - testimony to the old boundaries of the city. North Longmont (north of Ninth Avenue) was incorporated into the town in 1904, and annexed in 1913.

A half acre in size, this park has a shelter, community gardens and a playground (no restrooms). To view a complete list of park amenities and associated trail distances, visit our Plans, Maps & Reports webpage and view the Park Amenities Chart.

For more information or to reserve a shelter at this park, contact Parks, Open Space & Trails.
