This Week in Longmont - December 21, 2018
City Holiday Schedule
Longmont city government observes the Christmas holiday on Tuesday, December 25. All City facilities will be closed. Trash, recycling and composting collection will be one day later than usual following the holiday. On Monday, December 24, the Waste Diversion Center will be closed, the St. Vrain Memorial Building and Longmont Recreation Center will close at 3 pm, and the Ice Pavilion will close at 4 pm.
Beware of Phone Scams
Longmont is seeing scammers who are able to make it appear as if they are calling from a legitimate number, including the City of Longmont. DO NOT give out any personal, credit card or bank information to the caller. If there is some question that this call could be from a company you have a relationship with, tell the caller you are hanging up the phone and contacting the company directly. Look up the phone number yourself and place a separate call to that place of business. Do not rely on the caller to provide the phone number to you.
