Library Announces Expanded Access to Consumer Reports Magazine

Library cardholders now get all the same information as paid subscribers

Post Date:03/08/2019 11:30 AM

When Consumer Reports magazine recently changed its online platform for libraries to a more restricted search engine, Longmont librarians weren’t having it. As one of the most in-demand online services locally, library staff knew that patrons would be frustrated by the changes and responded by upgrading the service to now provide access to all the same features that individual magazine and online subscribers receive.  This complete online content includes improved searching for articles and subjects, reviews with full reports, charts, and graphs, and the ability to read the current print issue online.  The Consumer Reports service can be accessed online from anywhere, but a library card number is required. Access it here.
