Turn Bargains into Treasures with ThriftU Classes at the Library
Free program shows innovative ways to reuse and upcycle thrift store finds
Master the art of thrift store upcycling with your ThriftU degree from the Longmont Public Library! Earn your degree in as little as two hours with the ThriftU Summer School program. In the first two classes of this new series, beginning and better crafters will learn to turn thrift store clothes into coasters and tote bags and to transform old books into wonderful home décor. The classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, June 12 and Wednesday, July 1. Supplies will be provided, and any one of any skill level aged 16 and older are invited to participate.
