Turn Bargains into Treasures with ThriftU Classes at the Library

Free program shows innovative ways to reuse and upcycle thrift store finds

Post Date:05/13/2019

Let the library show you how to turn your thrift store finds into personalized treasures.

Master the art of thrift store upcycling with your ThriftU degree from the Longmont Public Library! Earn your degree in as little as two hours with the ThriftU Summer School program.  In the first two classes of this new series, beginning and better crafters will learn to turn thrift store clothes into coasters and tote bags and to transform old books into wonderful home décor. The classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, June 12 and Wednesday, July 1. Supplies will be provided, and any one of any skill level aged 16 and older are invited to participate. Class size will be limited to 25 people. Registration is required and can be accomplished online. No email address?  Call 303-651-8472.  Classes are free so no financial aid is needed, and there are no pesky loans to repay. Get your education started today!

The Friends of the Longmont Library generously support library programs and services.
