Turn Bargains into Treasures with ThriftU Classes at the Library
Free program shows innovative ways to reuse and upcycle thrift store finds
Master the art of thrift store upcycling with your ThriftU degree from the Longmont Public Library! Earn credits toward your degree in as little as two hours with the ThriftU program. In the next two classes of this series, beginning and better crafters will learn to turn wooden bowls, trays, and plates into chic home décor with only paint, as well as how to make hanging planters or bird feeders from old picture frames. The classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 11 and Wednesday, May 13. Supplies will be provided, and any one of any skill level aged 16 and older are invited to participate.
