It is the policy of the Longmont City Government to provide equal access for people with disabilities to all of its programs, services and activities. The role of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator was created to ensure that this policy for people with disabilities is maintained. It provides assistance to persons with disabilities who wish to engage or participate in city programs, services, and activities as fully as those without disabilities.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the Longmont City Government, should contact the ADA Coordinator, Joanne Zeas, at 303-651-8605 or by email to joanne.zeas@longmontcolorado.gov as soon as possible, but no later than five business days before a scheduled event.

For Accommodations:

For Grievances:

Please complete the following ADA Grievance form if you have made a request for ADA accommodations and do not agree with the outcome. This form will initiate a grievance with the City of Longmont, which will be promptly addressed. Web Accessibility

Accessibility for visitors to the City of Longmont web site is very important to us. This site uses accessibility guidelines set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). A primary mission of the W3C has been to maintain the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

In order to meet the needs of all users of our website, LongmontColorado.gov, we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Conformance standards. In an effort to insure access to as many of our residents as possible, we make every attempt to meet Revised 508 Standards Conformance  - W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines [WCAG] 2.0Level AA, and continually monitor the site to adhere to this guideline.
