The Longmont Housing Authority of the City of Longmont consists of seven (7) commissioners appointed to serve staggered three (3) year terms, no more than one of which may be a city official. The purpose of the Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) is to provide a broad range of safe, decent, affordable housing and services to income qualified households in the Longmont Community. Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Longmont City Council per C.R.S. §29-4-205(3)(a-c).
LHA Vision: To be the leader in the provision of affordable housing in our service area.
LHA Mission: To provide housing and related services to low and moderate income families, elderly, and disabled households; ant to relieve the community of substandard housing.
