The City Attorney's criminal justice division prosecutes violations of the City Code in the Municipal Court. The criminal justice division is at the Safety and Justice Center, 225 Kimbark St. For information about the City Attorney's criminal justice division, please contact us at (303) 651-8902.

The City Attorney's office gives the City legal advice on adoption and interpretation of City laws, called ordinances. The City Code (Longmont Municipal Code) is a book of general and permanent City ordinances. The City Code is available online or in the Longmont Public Library, at Fourth Avenue and Kimbark Street.
