Community and Neighborhood Resources LogoCommunity and Neighborhood Resource has knowledgeable staff that can facilitate and provide technical assistance for individuals, neighborhood, community organizations and the City of Longmont in the on-going development of skills to create a atmosphere of inclusion for a diverse community of people who live, work and visit Longmont.

This assistance can be provided in a variety of ways:

  • Cultural Conflict between neighbors, neighborhoods, community groups can be addressed by mediation or a facilitated discussion to open the lines of communication and begin to build a respectful understanding of difference or similarities.
  • Cultural Awareness Technical Guidance or Referral: CNR can provide direction for groups or agencies seeking to promote educational presentations or discussions that build on mutuality, justice, equity. Culture and human behavior is not understood by a list or through a list of do’s and don’ts.
