Free Law Clinics

The City of Longmont, through its Community and Neighborhood Resources Division, and the Boulder Court Self-Help Resource Center, coordinates quarterly law clinics free and open to the public.  Registration is not required.  

Attorneys are available on site to provide legal advice in English and Spanish in the following areas:

  • Bankruptcy

  • Fair Housing/Disabilities

Small Claims Clinic

  • Learn what claims can be brought to Small Claims Court

Collections Clinic
If you need assistance with collecting a  judgment go  to the  Boulder Justice Center, 1777 6th Street, Boulder, Jury Assembly Room, first Tuesday of every month from 12p to 1:30p. Learn from an attorney how to collect through Garnishments and exemptions. Learn how interrogatories can assist you in finding assets. Can liens be beneficial in collecting a judgment? Ask an attorney!

Probate Clinic
A probate attorney is available every 2nd Thursday of each month from 8a to 10a.  Free consultations on a walk-in basis only.  For more information, visit the Colorado Judicial Branch website.

Divorce and Custody Form Workshop

Need help completing domestic relations forms?  Self-Represented Litigant Coordinators are available every Thursday from 1:00p to 2:30p to provide assistance (classroom setting) with completing forms.  Legal advice cannot be provided.  If you require a specific form, please make sure you bring the form with you, or you may purchase one at the Clerks' window.  Forms are also available online at:
