The SOLL Project was created to support Longmont’s Sustainability Plan by giving residents the opportunity to learn about Sustainability Best Practices through neighborhood outreach and education. The project is currently in a testing phase with a few different neighborhoods in Longmont.
Areas eligible for the program:
Kiteley Neighborhood Residents (9th Avenue to Mountain View and Main to the Railroad Tracks)
Inn Between Residents (Coffman, Kimbark, or Terry Street Buildings)
The program will expand to additional neighborhoods in the future. If you live in an ineligible neighborhood and would like us to include your neighborhood in the next round, please let us know by clicking here.
Household sustainability improvements for participating residents will include:
• Energy and Water conservation (such as FREE energy efficient light bulbs and water regulating shower heads)
• Sanitation and safety upgrades (such as FREE smoke detectors and composting assistance)
• Sustainability education (receive ongoing education and support for maintaining Sustainable Living)
• And more!
The best part? A trained Sustainability Technician from YOUR own neighborhood will visit your house to make your household sustainability upgrades.
