Starting in March, the City of Longmont Recreation, Parks, and Golf divisions begin recruiting for many part-time and full-time temporary jobs. Some of the positions open include Maintenance Workers in Parks and Golf, Water Safety Instructors, Beach Managers, Seasonal Rangers, Lifeguards, Scorekeepers, Sports Officials, Day Camp Leaders and others.
The pay ranges from minimum wage up to $12 per hour depending on the position and qualifications of the applicant. Minimum age for employment is sixteen years. Assignments vary in length from 3 to 6 months. Work schedule will vary depending on the position and division. A City application is required and may be completed online on the website.
