Use Computers and WiFi @ the Library

Adult Computer Labs

  • For patrons who are age 18 or older.
  • Patrons must have a library card to access these computers.
  • Reserve a computer by ahead of time by calling 303-651-8769.
  • Printing is 10-cents/page for black and white copies and 25-cents/page for color copies.
  • Computer use is limited to two hours per day.
  • The purpose of computers is primarily for information and research.
  • Web-based email, chat rooms and games are permitted.
  • Word-processing on IBM-compatible computers is available.
  • Accessing materials that are obscene, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit is prohibited in the computer lab.

Children's and Teens' Computer Lab

  • The lab is divided into three sections: teens ages 14-17; younger users under age 14; and pre-school early literacy computers.
  • All children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Parental permission is not required to use this area.
  • Children must have a children’s library card to use these computers.
  • Printing is 10-cents/page for black and white copies and 25-cents/page for color copies.
  • Permitted activities: word processing, printing, Internet searching filtered by WebSense*, librarian installed software, web-based email, and games on a limited basis.

*Filtering software is not a substitute for parental supervision.

Mobile Printing Services

High Speed WiFi 

  • Connected to the City’s gigabit fiber optic system.
  • Available throughout the building.
  • Network name is: Library.
  • No password required.

Need Help with Your Digital Devices?

Tech Café @ the Library

  • Every Second Monday, 10 to 11 am
  • Visit us at the Longmont Public Library Tech Café for a brief computer class followed by plenty of time for questions. Each month we'll cover a common topic, program, or website and help you learn to navigate it.
  • Bring your devices! Bring your questions!
  • All ages and skill levels are welcome to come and seek technology assistance whether it be on smartphones, laptops, tablets and/or computers.
  • Held in the Computer Lab.
  • No registration required.
