Discovery Days is an early childhood program at the Longmont Museum that encourages children ages 2-6 and their parents/caregivers to engage together in educational, hands-on art activities. This is a drop-in program.
Homeschool Art Exploration

Homeschoolers: learn new art techniques, explore different mediums, study the masters in a fun and unique way, combine pop culture with portraiture, and more! Each week we will tackle a new project and technique with a focus on learning, exploring, and having fun. Register online
Parent-Child Ukulele Series

Fall Break Camps

It’s time to let your inner geek shine! Learn the secrets of wizards, Jedi, and Time Lords. Express yourself through fan fiction, fan art, and green screen movie magic. Explore big ideas across time and space! Register for one, two, or three days – each day has a different theme (Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Warrior Cats). Register online
Make & Take Toys

Create and build your own toys. We’ll make things that wiggle, climb, and fly and toys that are soft, squishy,

Big Kids’ Ornament Making

Santa Story Time & Brunch

Celebrate the magical holidays at a story time and brunch with Santa. We will be serving yummy food and holiday cheer as Santa entertains your whole family with stories. Winter Break Camp
Holiday Handmade: DIY gifts, crafts, and creativity for kids!
December 18 – 22, 9 am – 4 pm, ages 6 – 10, $60/day (194448)
School may be on break, but arts, crafts, and creativity are always in season! Campers will take home a different creation each day of the week, artfully wrapped so gift receivers can’t peek. Register day by day or for the full week. Bring a lunch and snack each day. Register online

To provide the best experience for everyone, all children must meet the age requirement at the start of the camp or class date. No exceptions.
If a child cannot attend a camp or class, cancellation must be made at least two weeks prior to the session start date for a full refund. Cancellations made one week prior to camp or class start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, cancellations made less than 1 week prior to camp start date are subject to a 75% cancellation fee. In the event the Museum cancels a camp or class, registration fees are refunded in full.
