Longmont Times-Call Newspaper Clipping File Collection

Collection Overview

The Longmont Times-Call clipping file collection at the Longmont Museum includes approximately 400 boxes of clippings dating from 1967 to 1991, arranged in categories by the Times-Call’s librarians. The category system may have been developed by Ruth Lehman, one of the publishers of the Times-Call during this period. Work is ongoing to inventory this collection.

Access

All of the clippings are accessible through the Longmont Museum’s archives, call 303-651-8969 for an appointment.  Prints or scans of photos in the clipping files may be purchased through the Longmont Museum. Commercial use of photos requires permission of the Longmont Times-Call.
