Parking Ticket Appeal Process

Press Enter to show all options, press Tab go to next option

You may request that your ticket be reviewed through an informal administrative parking review process by submitting a Parking Citation Appeal Form. You have 20 days from the date the ticket was issued to appeal your ticket, and you will receive a decision within 20 days of your form submission. Please mail or bring your form, along with a copy of your original ticket, to the Parking Enforcement Office located at 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.

You may also request a formal hearing instead of an informal administrative parking review if you are past the 20 day limit for the informal review or if you prefer to appear in person with a Hearing Officer present. To request a formal hearing, you must file a written request with the Longmont Municipal Court and pay a $25 hearing fee within 60 days from the date the ticket was issued. The hearing fee will only be refunded if the Hearing Officer determines that a parking infraction did not occur. There is no further recourse if the decision is upheld; parking tickets are a strict liability offense.
