Thanksgiving Holiday Information: Thursday, November 28, 2019

In observance of Thanksgiving Day, some City offices and services will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2019.

City Schedules for Thanksgiving Holiday

Longmont city government observes the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. On Thursday all City facilities will be CLOSED except for special hours at the Longmont Recreation Center (see below). On Friday all facilities will be closed except recreation facilities, all of which will be open regular hours. The Waste Diversion Center will be closed through November 30. Thursday trash, recycling and composting will be collected on Friday.

Thanksgiving Day “Fitness Buffet”

The Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road will be open for a “Fitness Buffet” from 7 to 11 am on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28. Patrons age 14 and older can choose from a variety of fitness classes, use the cardio machines and weight room, and swim laps. There will be no babysitting, climbing wall, open gym or free swim. Regular admission fees apply, and passes are accepted. You’re also invited to bring a canned food item for the OUR Center.
