BASIC HANDGUN AND CONCEALED CARRY COURSE 2019 - Thinking of buying a handgun as a first time handgun owner or interested in getting training to apply for your concealed carry license? Do you just want to get back to the basics of handgun safety? Learn how to safely store, carry, and shoot your handgun. This co-ed course is a combination of classroom and range time, appropriate for all level of shooters. Gain valuable knowledge and skills of the shooting sport, fundamentals of marksmanship, reloads, and clearing malfunctions. If you don't have a handgun and would like to sign up for this class, please call (303)774-4589. This course exceeds state standards for concealed carry permit (CCW) requirements. Each participant will receive a certificate upon course completion. CCW permits must be obtained in the county in which you reside. Participants must be 18 years of age and older. Cost $130. LADIES AFTERNOON 2019 - Enjoy a unique Ladies Afternoon Out! Spend Sunday afternoon with other women who enjoy the sport. Each session focuses on a topic pertaining to women's safety and awareness, firearm training, and skill development. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply new skills in the classroom and on the range. Must be 18 years of age or older to participate. $35 for range members / $45 non-members. Must own a handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, dual hearing protection and eye protection required. 2pm - 5pm on Sundays. To register for the class utilize City of Longmont RecTrac. RIFLE SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HUNTER SIGHT IN - Bring your rifles to sight in for hunting season. One Sunday per month, any distance from 10-100 yards. This public use activity at the range does not require a membership. Non-range member shooters may bring hunting caliber rifles only, no steel ammo, no black powder or muzzle loaders, no .50 caliber or greater. For questions, please call (303)774-4589. Must be 10 years of age or older to participate. If under 18 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Fee: $15 per 30 minute block for non-range members. Sundays, 8am-4pm.
