Dr Perry believes that what traumatized children most need is a healthy community to buffer the pain, distress and loss caused by their earlier trauma and that what works to heal kids (and adults) is anything that increases the number and quality of a child’s (or adult’s) healthy relationships.

There are 19,814 sex offenders registered in the Colorado, 293 of whom are registered in Longmont. Longmont now has 6 Sexually Violent Predators (SVP), 4 of whom have permanent residences, 2 of whom are transient

We are in complete agreement with the grand jury's finding that the officer not be indicted on criminal charges. We respect the process and greatly appreciate the grand jury's time and energy. We also take notice of those expectations the grand jury has of Longmont's Police Services.

Arrested party was booked into the Boulder County Jail and was charged with several crimes to include menacing, attempted motor vehicle theft, second degree burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and arrest warrants from two jurisdictions.
