In September of 2013, the City of Longmont experienced massive flooding along the St. Vrain and Lefthand Creeks, caused by an unusually high level of rain along these two drainage basins. Since that time, the City has been constructing the Resilient St. Vrain project to recover from the historic flooding. A part of the project is the Dickens Farm Park
