Remove graffiti as quickly as possible. Graffiti can be seen as a status symbol – removing it quickly eliminates this stance.

|In Progress Graffiti Calls||
Dial 9-1-1. Residents are most effective when they call 9-1-1 for graffiti in progress and can provide a plate number, description of the vehicle, (color, make/model, and year) and number of occupants. As well as what the people defacing the property are wearing, approximate age as well as their gender. Do not approach those involved in what you believe is illegal activity.
|Calls for Graffiti assistance not in progress
For those instances in which the graffiti is not in progress City of Longmont’s Public Works provides oversight. Please submit a report online through ServiceWorks or call the graffiti hotline at (303) 774-GEAR (4327). Calls will be responded to Monday through Friday within 48 hours. Your report will assist Public Works to find the graffiti, and locate a property owner (in some cases this may be the city) to inform them of their responsibility to remove the graffiti in a timely manner.
