The City of Longmont’s Waste Services Division is rescheduling Fall Leaf Collection dates for residents with Monday and Tuesday trash collection areas. Wednesday and Thursday leaf bag collection schedules will remain the same.

Longmont has some exciting changes to the bike share program! On Monday, October 14, Zagster bike share stations throughout Longmont will be unavailable until Wednesday, October 16 and will relaunch as Pace on Thursday, October 17.

Effective immediately, the SVG trail is closed between Main Street and Boston Avenue and the Price Road pedestrian bridge over the St. Vrain Creek near the BNSF Railroad Bridge. The closure is for public safety during construction on the Resilient St. Vrain project

Steel is rising on a 23,000-square-foot building for Longmont’s Biogas Treatment and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Fueling Station Project, which will transform WWTP byproducts into renewable fuel for City trash trucks. The building will house fueling pads for the trash trucks and adminstrative space.

Resilient St. Vrain Project City Reach 2B Includes Railroad Bridge Replacement, Retaining Walls & Greenway Trail Restoration
Work includes replacing the existing BNSF Railroad Bridge near Price Road, relocating the St. Vrain Creek creek channel, adding retaining wall sections, and replacing the existing Price Road pedestrian bridge with a longer bridge that will span the new channel, and planting native vegetation.

Motorists can expect minor lane closures throughout the day Friday, May 31, for concrete saw cutting work along the portion of South Pratt Parkway located between Ken Pratt Blvd and Colorado Ave. This stretch of road is being rehabilitated as part of the City's annual Pavement Management Program.
