Athletic Food Truck Vending with Longmont RecreationAthletic Food Truck Vending is a structure for mobile food trucks to reserve vending spaces at five different athletic venue sites to serve the needs of park visitors and participants. Each Vendor enrolls their food truck or cart into the basic Food Truck Registration Fee and, from there, can reserve an all-day site at their desired park.
To Register/Enroll in Food Truck Vending
Each vendor enrolls their food truck or cart into the basic Food Truck Registration Fee activity 601009. Once registered, required once a calendar year, vendors select and enroll in specific days at the desired location. Fees of $10 - $15 per day is required for up to 12 days. Additional dates selected beyond the initial 12 are made without charge.
Note: each Food Truck registration is considered a single vehicle. Enrollment in two locations on the same day by the same vehicle is not allowed by the system. It is helpful to create a "family member" in your online household for each food truck or mobile vending cart, especially if you have more than one for which you will be scheduling. Each food truck will be subject to the 12 days of fees for daily reservations.
Disclaimers for sites:
Days open for reservation are done prior to schedule finalization. While the time for the reservation may be from 8am to 11pm, there is no claim that there will be park activity during the duration of that time. Enrollment in specific for days may be made up to 180 days in advance. Reserved vending is available from mid-March through mid-November.
By reserving dates, the vendor reserves one of the vending spots available at that site on that day - the actual time the vendor is present is up to the vendor. Reserved site sharing, i.e. one food truck in the morning, and a different food truck in the afternoon, is allowed and is up to the individual vendors to coordinate. In all cases, the food vendor present must be able to produce the receipt of reservation upon request to Longmont Recreation staff. Failure to produce a receipt will necessitate the immediate removal of the mobile food vendor from the reserved site.
