When do youth basketball leagues practice and play?
Youth basketball teams practice two hours per week begin the first week of January. Games are Saturdays, January 19 to March 2, 2019. Practice times, days and location will depend upon the school and coach's availability. Players can request a friend and/or coach to play with. Practices will be on school-days only: there will be no practices during holiday breaks and "no-school" days.
Where do I find team standings?
With Junior Nuggets youth basketball, kids develop a sense of team play where participation, skills, sportsmanship and FUN are stressed above all. Individual games are scored, but winning takes a back seat to teamwork and sportsmanship in this program. Therefore, league scores and standings are not posted for youth recreation programs in keeping with our recreational youth policy.
