Registrations will be accepted beginning February 1 at the St. Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave, and online. Registration is a two-step process.
Step One: Submit the Registration Form and the Enrollment Packet
Every camper must complete a separate registration, however there is a single family registration fee regardless of number of children: $45 per resident family/ $56.25 per non-resident family for registrations taken through April 15. After April 15, the registration fee is $65 resident family/ $75 non-resident family. The family registration fee is non-refundable. The family registration fee covers enrollment of campers in both the Longmont Summer Day Camp and the Tween LOCO Camp.
Please note that the completed Enrollment packet is required at registration for all registrations taken May 1 or later. Our staff go through each camper's packet to ensure that we have done our part to support your camper having a great summer. If you are motivated by late fees, we are happy to charge them...and we would much rather have your camper's paperwork complete and on file as soon as possible after registering. We appreciate your assistance in turning in required forms in a timely manner: maintaining good standing with the state is important to our camp.
Step Two: Enroll for specific days of camp
Registration for individual days are accepted online, in person and on the phone until 4 p.m. the day prior, on a space available basis. Beginning at 4:01pm, a day-of fee of $15 PER CHILD is assessed to the registration and must be paid prior to the camper attending camp. The 4pm deadline is strictly adhered to.
If you have circled dates of attendance on your hard copy registration form and have not yet paid, your camper is NOT enrolled. Selection of days WITH PAYMENT triggers enrollment.
Daily fee for Longmont Summer Day Camp: $42.50 resident/ $53 non-resident
Daily fee for Tween LOCO: $44 resident/ $55 non-resident
1) Paid in full at time of enrollment;
2) Participation with a CCAP funding program (Boulder or Weld Counties only); or
3) Auto-pay credit card/checking account/savings account deductions made on the 15th of the month (for enrollment dates 16-30) and on the 30th of the month (for enrollment dates 1-15) beginning May 15.
If electing to use the auto-pay option, $5 per day is collected at the time of enrollment. The balance due will be billed approximately two weeks prior to attendance on the 15th and 30th of the month.
For example: if in early March you are enrolling for eight days between June 1 and June 12, $40 will be collected at the time of enrollment (8 days x $5/day). The $300 balance due (8 days x $37.50/day) will be automatically deducted on May 30.
If your circumstances are such that you would benefit by arranging a custom payment schedule, please contact Suellen for more information.
Scholarships are available for Longmont residents. Up to $100 per calendar year is awarded Longmont residents under the age of 18 towards recreation activities. While scholarship funds may not be applied to the one-time family registration fee, they can be applied to daily fees - roughly paying for the majority of 3 full days of camp (2 days of Tween LOCO). Download the scholarship form.
Transferring from one date to another is available without penalty prior to May 15. Transfer requests should be made by contacting Suellen, or calling/stopping by the St Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave. No transfers will occur after May 15: thereafter, all date changes will be considered cancellations and enrollments.
Two weeks notice is required for any cancellations: cancellations made within two weeks are not eligible for a refund. For cancellations made more than two weeks in advance, a $5 cancellation fee per day is assessed.
Transfers from one day to another are not available after May 15. Each day is considered a separate transaction subject to the cancellation policy listed above.
Please note: We will work with unique and special circumstances on a case-by-case basis. The Longmont Summer Day Camp/ Tween LOCO Camp does not penalize for "surprise summer school" or custody disputes. Contact Suellen for a case review as soon as the situation arises - there is much more flexibility working with future dates than with those that have already occurred.
