If you want access to or assistance with the vast number and kinds of resources available to older persons and caregivers of older adults – this is the place. Staff is available to offer support, information, referrals, counseling, and assistance to older adults and caregivers of older adults.  

Services provided by City Staff include:

Seniors Resource Specialists - Information, Referral and Assistance

  • Consult with Veronica Garcia or Amy Payan if you'd like assistance regarding:
    • Locating or accessing resources or services such as housing, help in the home, and health care
    • Completing various forms
    • Navigating the various other systems of assistance (Medicaid, Social Security, etc.)
    • Accessing financial assistance programs for dental, vision, personal care, and respite services, to name a few
    • If you are struggling to make ends meet

Senior Services Counselor - Counseling and Emotional Support Services

  • Brandy Queen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is available for:
    • Individual Counseling
    • Consultations to caregivers of older persons
    • Family meetings regarding elder issues
    • Access to a number of support groups including:
      • Grief Support Groups
      • Adjusting to Life's Changes Support Group
      • Caregiver Support Groups
