June – July, 2020: All Virtual Camps

Ages 3-16

After much consideration and deliberation, we have decided to move all Museum summer camps online. Virtual summer camp will allow us to serve our community while ensuring the safety of campers, volunteers, and staff during COVID-19 closures. We have been hard at work developing innovative, at-home camp programs that deliver the creative, hands-on learning you've come to expect from the Longmont Museum.

  • Registration is available online or by calling the Museum at 303-651-8374. Because the Museum building is currently closed, you may reach voicemail when calling. We will return all calls within one business day.
  • Registration for all camps will close one and a half weeks before the camp begins to allow time to create the supply kits and pick up.
  • Each camp will be held online in a secure meeting room during the “camp time” listed, with the instructor leading camp activities live through the online meeting room with the same enthusiasm from our instructors that you have experienced in the past. You will receive a link before your program begins.
  • The cost of all camps includes a specialized supply kit for your camper to use and keep for the guided hands-on activities from home. These kits will be available for drive-by, curbside pick-up at the Museum before your camp begins.
  • We have need-based scholarships available for summer camp! Download the application or call the Museum at 303-651-8374 for more information.
  • If your child is already registered for a regular Museum summer camp, you can either cancel for a full refund or transfer to a virtual camp program. We also welcome and appreciate donations of camp value.
  • Parents must sign a multimedia waiver for their child to participate in online camp.
  • All campers will require a computer, tablet, or smart phone that has a webcam, mic, speakers, and internet access to attend virtual camps.
