Thank you for your interest. We've reached the number of registrations for this event.

There is no more important or timely need in communities everywhere than reducing the risk of gun violence while respecting the rights of gun owners.  Like other communities, Longmont has an obligation to reduce risks of gun violence and the fear among gun owners that their right to gun ownership will be compromised.  Unlike other communities, Longmont will do this by bringing all interested residents together to listen and to share with one another in World Café conversations focusing on two questions:

  1. What can we do collectively to reduce risk and respect rights, and
  2. What can I do individually to reduce risk and respect rights?

Join residents representing all perspectives on gun violence and gun ownership in a conversation led by leaders from Longmont’s faith community and supported by the City of Longmont on September 12, 2018.  Participation in this conversation is limited to the first 120 Longmont residents who register.  If there is sufficient interest, additional conversations will be scheduled and facilitated over the next several months.
