Channel 8 Signal Temporarily Disrupted
Viewers of Longmont Comcast Cable Channel 8 may experience some disruptions in service through the beginning of January. The City Council awarded a new service contract to Longmont Public Media (LPM) replacing the Longmont Cable Trust. During this transition period, programming will be interrupted and you may see a black screen or a “technical difficulties” message. We thank you for your patience while the new public access provider establishes its broadcast signal. LPM can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Through a franchise agreement with the City of Longmont, the local cable TV system (Comcast) provides three video cable channels to the the City of Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley School District.
