The City of Longmont Recreation Services offers a wide range of fitness and wellness programs including water fitness, land fitness, yoga classes, personal training and fitness assessments. Fitness and wellness classes are offered at four sites year-round:

  • Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Rd
  • St Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave
  • Centennial Pool, 1201 Alpine St
  • Izaak Walton Clubhouse, 18 S Sunset St

The fitness and yoga class schedule is available online now.

Summer Fitness in the Parks 

Mix up your workouts by taking them outside this summer! Join us for five classes at various parks throughout the City of Longmont! Childcare will not be available.

18 & up: Fridays, 9-10am
Fee: FREE!

June 1- Pilyoga at Willow Farm Park- Dawn
June 15- Zumba at Roger’s Grove- Laura
July 6- Tai Chi at Willow Farm Park- Marcia
July 20- Zumba at Collyer Park- Carla
Aug 3- Bootcamp at Garden Acres- Brian (7-8am)


Personal Training

Longmont Recreation Services offers one-on-one personal training for individuals who are just starting to exercise, who have specific training goals in mind, or who are looking to shake up their workout routine. Personal Training is available by appointment at all Recreation Services facilities. Download pdf of packages and pricing.

Ask the Fitness Professional

Stop in to talk to a personal trainer about fitness questions that pertain to your goals! Patrons pay daily admittance fee.  There is no additional fee for the consult.

2nd Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm at the St. Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave.
